Super Late Model rookie Corey Jones has sent along a photo of his brand new look for the 2014 season. The multi-time Canadian Vintage Modified winner will race fulltime with the OSCAAR tour this season, joining a crowded Rookie of the Year race, alongside former Peterborough champion Kelly Balson and former Thunder Car front-runner 'The Deuce' Dave Doucette. Jones will compete as a teammate to OSCAAR veteran Shane Gowan, and will compete with support from Castle Building Centres, RBC, Accountable Automotive, Dan Simpson – RBC Mortgage Specialist, Anmar Cleaning Services, Inno-Tech, Ken Robinson Refrigeration, Oktane Productions, EPIC Racewear and LaFleche Roofing. Late Model competitor 'Livewire' Nick Goetz recently took the time to catch up with us, and discussed his brand new McColl Racing Enterprises chassis, his partnership with Ed Hakonson Racing, the 2014 Sunset Speedway season and this weekend's Spring Derby 100. 2-time Autumn Colours Classic champion 'The Bully' Dwayne Baker has sent along a shot of his ride for the 2014 season. The Stayner, ON veteran will return to fulltime competition at Sunset, in search of his first career speedway championship. Baker joins a laundry list of contenders, including defending champion Mike 'Lights Out' Bentley, former titlist 'Mr. Excitement' Chris Morrow and 6-time 2013 feature winner Jason 'Bam Bam' Witty. Baker's efforts will be supported by Zancor Custom Homes, B&B Towing, Nisco National Leasing, Clearview Heating & Cooling, Four Valleys Excavating, Baker Performance Parts and Knightworks Design.

Blackstock, ON driver Jack Horner unveiled his brand new Ltd. Late Model this week. The Mini Stock-graduate will race fulltime at Peterborough Speedway, in a 2014 Howe chassis, assembled and prepared by Horner Chassis Fabrication. Jack will carry sponsorship from ML Excavating & Construction and Jeffery Homes. Horner will make his 2014 debut, alongside the rest of the Peterborough Ltd. Late Model squad, on May 17th.
Following up an 8-feature win season at Barrie Speedway in 2013, 'The Hillsdale Hurricane' Thayne Hallyburton has made the transition to fulltime competition at Sunset Speedway this season. A graduate of both the Mini Stock and Thunder Car divisions, Hallyburton will debut a brand new Port City Racing Chassis sponsored by Thompson Enterprises and Hillsdale Service Centre at this weekend's Spring Derby 100.
